SMAST Questionaire
Short Michigan Alcoholism Screening Test (SMAST)
The SMAST test is comprised of questions taken directly from the longer MAST Screening test. Having only 13 questions as opposed to the full 24 of the MAST test allows it to be utilized in far more situations where time may be a factor. The lower amount of questions does not significantly reduce its accuracy and is still considered a reliable indicator of Alcoholism or alcohol abuse.
As with the longer MAST Questionaire there are points associated with each answer. Simply keep track of your points and add them up before going to the Scoring Page.
